Acquisition combines Alloys’ specialist expertise with Exclusive Networks’ unified communications capabilities. 

 

Specialist distributor Alloys has acquired the assets of Exclusive Networks’ unified communications division. 

 

The acquisition earlier this month by the Melbourne-based distributor adds several major brands to its portfolio, including HP Poly, Huddly, Owl Labs, Pexip, Avocor, Realwear and Unify.

 

This marks the first acquisition for Alloys in the unified communications space, which will run as a unit under the direction of Martin Callaghan and supported by eight former Exclusive Networks unified communications staff. 

 

Alloys CEO Paul Harman (pictured) said there was a limited New Zealand component to the business, which Exclusive had operated in the past and Alloys itself had only maintained a small presence largely driven from Australia. 

 

“This will assist Alloys in growing its capability and needs in New Zealand,”  he said.
