Dandelion delivers 600 donated book packs

Office products industry thanked for $40,000 contribution.

Dandelion Support Network, through the efforts of the The Australian Office Products Charitable Fund and industry sponsors, has delivered 600 book packs to primary and secondary school children.

“There have been a large number of very grateful social workers thanking us for the book packs,” Gabrielle Humphreys, general manager of Dandelion Support Network (pictured with AOPCF chairman John Donaghy), told Office Products News.

“Once again, we would like to thank the Charity Fund and the sponsors for the book packs, which have definitely made the start to school a lot brighter for a large number of children,” she said.

“This year we have traced where they go so everyone will be able to see how far afield and which agencies we’ve worked with to get them out to disadvantaged families,” she added.
