Office Products News

Good afternoon,

A new survey jointly conducted by Officeworks and tax accountants H&R Block has found that 84 per cent of Australian small businesses are not taking advantage of the instant asset tax write-off, even though the threshold has been raised to $30,000 this financial year.

Printers and office furniture are among the most popular assets to be upgraded but laptops, coffee machines and delivery vans are also in the mix.

With the  financial year ending in 11 days, there’s not much time left for dealers and suppliers to flog higher-priced items to the high percentage of customers who have yet to place an order.
