Roundabout Canberra says thanks

Roundabout Canberra says thanks

20 December 2024

The Charity Fund has assisted numerous children’s charities in 2024, among them Roundabout Canberra, a beneficiary of the Christmas lunch.

Sally Minty, operations co-ordinator, at Roundabout Canberra, sent the following thank you note to Charity Fund chairman John Donaghy, prior to Christmas.

Dear John,

As the year wraps up, I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you and the Australian Office Products Charitable Fund for your incredible support in 2024.

I have just received your surprise delivery of lamination pouches and Dymo labels. Thank you so much

Your help with school packs and stationery supplies has made such a difference to our work at Roundabout Canberra.

It’s this kind of support that helps us keep things running smoothly and ensures we can provide essential items to local families who need them most.

One of the social workers we partner with recently shared:

“For any families with new or young children, expenses are tough. To be able to receive help with clothing, nappies, prams, etc., means more food in the kids' mouths. It means parents can pay to have the heater on.”

Thanks to support like yours, we’ll finish the year having supported close to 5000 local kids—a milestone we simply couldn’t reach without your generosity.

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and a well-deserved break. I look forward to working with you again in 2025.

Warm regards,
Sally
