Asaleo Care, whose brands include Libra, TENA, Tork, Treasures, Purex, Sorbent, Handee, Viti and Orchid, is the first manufacturer in the personal care industry to implement a RAP, joining more than 1000 organisations in Australia that are all working to build and implement plans of action.

Rochelle Lake, Asaleo Care’s head of B2B marketing and RAP working group chair, said a key focus for Asaleo Care would be working in partnership with Indigenous communities to help improve health outcomes.

The company said it was working to get a better understanding of the undetermined number of Indigenous and Torres Strait islanders that it employed.
