Epson ANZ releases first sustainability report
Tech firm ticks off key ESG initiatives.
Epson Australia has released its first-ever Sustainability Impact Report, detailing the company's progress across Australia and New Zealand.
The report covers April 2023 to March 2024, and showcases several key achievements in the company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
The technology firm said it achieved a complete transition to renewable electricity across all its Australian and New Zealand offices during the reporting period.
It also recorded a 50 per cent reduction in landfill waste at its main sites.
"We are sharing our inaugural Impact Report as a reflection of our commitment to sustainability and transparency," Fatida Un, environment and sustainability manager at Epson Australia said.
The company established new partnerships to strengthen its community impact, collaborating with the Botanic Gardens of Sydney, First Nations Fashion + Design, and the Australian Fashion Council.
The company maintained its commitment to the circular economy through established recycling programmes for ink cartridges and e-waste.
