Forty million EcoTank printers now on line.

Epson has added six new models to its range of EcoTank printers, which have now passed the 40 million sales mark.

The new printers have a big user benefit – they can run up to two years before the ink needs replacing.

The line-up consists of five new mono models and one single function colour model which are claimed to be cheaper to run than a traditional printer which requires regular cartridge changes.

All current and new EcoTank printers have the following features:

• Replacement ink bottles that start at $14.99.
• Up to two years of ink included – based upon printing 200 pages per month.
• Low energy consumption – it’s inkjet not laser technology.
• Environment-friendly - no throwaway ink or laser toner cartridges.
