'Corporate transformation' exec joins Japanese beverage firm.

 

Darren Fullerton, former CEO of Winc Australia/New Zealand (pictured), has resurfaced as CEO of Australasian beverage company Frucor Suntory.

 

Fullerton was CEO of Winc from January 2016 to November 2019 but stayed on as an independent consultant to the company’s US private equity owners Platinum Equity until April this year.

 

Fullerton’s brief was “to provide support with regards to Winc's ANZ strategic commercial priorities.”

 

Frucor Suntory, owned by the Japanese Suntory group, markets a range of leading beverages including V energy drink, Lucozade, Up ‘N Go and Ribena.

 

Prior to joining Winc, Fullerton was CEO of PepsiCo Australia/NZ for eight years.
