Gavin Ward to depart Office Brands
Search starts for replacement as CEO steps down after eight years.
Gavin Ward, CEO of Office Brands (pictured), has resigned after eight years with the national dealer group.
Ward said that after a handover with the new CEO, he and his family will relocate to Queensland.
“The journey for Maryann and my family will take me north of the border into COVID-free country as I look for another opportunity to start our next chapter in Queensland,” he said.
Ward added: “The company I leave has developed significant additional IT functionality to support our members and grown a significantly strengthened balance sheet. Our share price has grown strongly over the years to reflect that stronger balance sheet.”
David Spear, chairman of Office Brands said: “Gavin has been a dedicated, committed and responsible leader of Office Brands and we greatly appreciate his contribution and the value he has brought to our company over that journey.
“Gavin will continue to work with the board to ensure a seamless transition takes place over the coming weeks. The board will immediately commence a national search for a new CEO to take us into a new era,” he said.
