Distributor stands up for retailer’s rights.

 

GNS Wholesale has resisted efforts by the supplier of the well-known Australian Firefighters Calendar to restrict the online sale of the 2025 calendars by GNS' customers.

 

According to a report in the Newsagency Blog, the supplier wanted a guarantee that GNS customers would not sell the calendars online and not below the listed price.

 

In response, GNS said: “We believe in upholding the law and ensuring our customers’ freedom to conduct business as they see fit. As such, we are not willing to impose any restrictions on how you go to market with your products.

 

Unfortunately, this means we will not be receiving any stock of the Firemen calendars.

 

2025 Australian Firefighters Calendars are widely available online through sites such as Calendar Club and Just Calendars and at one time through Mega Office Supplies.

 

The Australian Firefighters Calendar was established in 1993 to support the Children's Hospital Foundation, providing funds for research into childhood burns. 

 

Now in its 31st year, the Australian Firefighters Calendar claims to have raised more than $3.45 million for various charities.
