GNS selects its suppliers and retailers of the year
Newell Brands has been named GNS supplier of the year for 2019.
The annual award, announced at the OPIx event in Sydney over the weekend, is based on several criteria, including sales performance, delivery times, marketing and training support and commitment to innovation.
Other nominees included Avery Products, Faber-Castell and Zions.
Faber-Castell’s Duane McSwain was named GNS supplier account manager of the year with the other nominees being Amanda Anderson (3M), Diane Munich (Staedtler) and Tim Irvine (Bostik).

GNS Retailer of the Year
The national GNS Retailer of the Year award went to The Foundry Murwillumbah, the state finalist for Queensland.
Other finalists were:
- Gunnedah Newsagency (NSW)
- Nextra Harrisdale (WA/SA/NT)
- Nextra Middle Brighton (VIC/TAS)
