Hong Kong Stationery Fair rescheduled to 2022
Chinese trade fairs on and off.
The Hong Kong International Stationery Fair, originally scheduled for January 2021, has been re-scheduled for 10-13 January 2022.
Entry restrictions on incoming visitors implemented by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government are expected to remain in force until the end of the year, with little certainty that they will be lifted at the beginning of 2021.
In the interim, HKSF visitors and exhibitors will have full access to the Autumn Sourcing Week | ONLINE (ASWO) during 16 – 27 November 2020.
Launched by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), ASWO is a one-stop online platform featuring 11 industries including stationery.
Meantime, the Paperworld China trade show and China Stationery and Sporting Goods Association (CSSGA) have combined forces to stage a combined event on 19 – 21 November 2020 at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai.
Judy Cheung, deputy general manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) commented: “Despite the negative impact caused by the pandemic across various industries, the Chinese stationery and office supplies sector is expected to bounce back as work-from-home and online school learning measures have been gradually lifted in China. In addition, in the face of extra time at home earlier in the year, many consumers have revived their interest in arts and crafts items.”
