HP launches first at-home ink subscription service

Celebrity chef promotes Instant Ink initiative.

HP has launched Australia’s first Instant Ink subscription service for home printing.

The company said the program was designed "to meet the increasing demand for printing and flexibility in hybrid working and learning."

HP claims that new ink cartridges will be delivered to customers’ doors before running out, while also saving them up to 50 per cent on ink costs.

HP’s new service also offers a flexible pricing model, High-volume cartridges and a new, seamless recycling program.

Paul Gracey, director of printing systems at HP Australia and New Zealand, said, “Our home and office needs are continuing to change as we embrace hybrid working and learning, and this is seeing a surge in the demand for printing at home.

"Instant Ink means we’ll no longer experience the dreaded ‘ink emergencies,’ with ink delivered straight to our doors well before running out. Instant Ink is bringing a level of flexibility never seen in printing, and we’re proud to bring this to Australia”.

To launch Instant Ink in Australia, HP has partnered with Australian TV personality and chef Manu Feildel (pictured), who “personally understands the pressure of cooking without a printed recipe, and as a father, business owner and passionate home-cook, knows the frustration of running out of ink at crucial moments all too well."
