Mandura lands workplace supplies contract at Sydney’s second airport
Indigenous joint venture with Winc a win-win for First Nations.
Indigenous company Mandura has been appointed by Sydney’s second international airport to supply a range of office and cleaning products.
Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport is on track to begin operations in late 2026, supporting thousands of direct and indirect jobs.
Mandura, a joint venture with Winc Australia, is now responsible for supplying copy paper, office products, kitchen, cleaning and hygiene supplies to the growing site.
“What’s most exciting about this partnership is our shared values,” says Mandura CEO and Awabakal Worimi descendant, Scott Allen.
“Around three per cent of the current Western Sydney Airport employee base identifies as First Nations. Western Sydney Airport is also committed to awarding three per cent of all contracts to First Nations businesses,” Allen said.
The Mandura workplace supplies offering includes over 40,000 products across technology, furniture, kitchen, office supplies, copy paper, cleaning and hygiene as well as health and safety. Among them are around 700 products from 10 First Nations brands.
As Mandura grows, its goal is to achieve a First Nations employment target of 40 per cent by the end of 2022.
Mandura donates 20 per cent of its profits to the Pauline E. McLeod Foundation to assist young First Nations Australians,
