Perth shoppers limited to mini bulk buys.

 

The opening of the newest Costco outlet in Perth tomorrow (19 March) is expected to create a stampede on the store’s “ample” supply of toilet paper.

 

Despite the latest ban on gatherings of 100 plus people, Costco is no doubt set to draw an opening day crowd into the thousands, with long queues in the household paper products aisle. 

 

While it has stocked up on toilet paper, Costco said the new store will be putting a one pack limit on loo paper for its customers. However, being a warehouse retailer one pack contains 60 rolls.

 

The retailer has also confirmed its launch into the online space – providing online shopping and delivery for its club members only.
