Newly-appointed Mike Nugent takes an early mark.

Mike Nugent (pictured)  has resigned as managing director of independent dealer New Zealand Office Supplies (NZOS) after only a few months in the job.

OPI reported that he has left the reseller to return to technology sales, taking on a commercial role at Optic Security Group.

Nugent joined NZOS as commercial director at the beginning of 2019 following its deal with the office supplies division of Fuji Xerox in 2018.

He has held a number of senior roles in NZ, including general manager for CSG NZ Northern Region, national dealer manager for Ricoh NZ Ltd and head of channel and provincial sales at Fuji Xerox New Zealand.

NZOS managing director Mike Manikas said at the time of Nugent’s appointmet: “I am delighted with the appointment of Mike. He brings passion, entrepreneurial flair, customner and domain knowledge in line with NZOS’ strategy. The team are excited at the prospect of Mike turbo charging the company’s growth following the acquisition of Fuji Xerox Supplies division in 2018”.
