Leading Kiwi office products distributor adds Eurobrands and Tape Spec.

 

Acme Supplies Ltd, a family-owned Hastings-based company, has acquired Eurobrands (NZ) and Tape Spec, both of which are based in Auckland. 

 

“Our desire as a company is to retain an entrepreneurial orientation but stay close to the established organisation, and these two acquisitions are an excellent fit with our current strategy and vision,” Acme said in a statement.

 

Eurobrands is a distributor of European stationery brands, including Fiskars, Lamy, Letts of London, Moleskine and Schneider. 

 

Tape Spec markets New Zealand’s largest range of self-adhesive tape products and will expand Acme’s current tape business – which operates as The Sellotape Company. 

 

According to a report in OPI, Acme is already a supplier to most customers of both Eurobrands and Tape Spec. The buy-outs are scheduled to become effective on 31 March.
