Office Brands announces record compliance distribution
Dealer group responds to ‘challenging’ time for members.
Office Brands has announced a record compliance distribution to members of $1.375 million in the wake of continued business disruption due to COVID-19 lockdowns.
The latest payment follows a record $1.1 compliance distribution to members in 2020.
Office Brands CEO Adam Joy said: “Office Brands is committed to continue supporting our members during this convoluted time. Our purpose is sustainable, profitable, and independent members. This announcement certainly delivers on our purpose, in the two most challenging years we have seen in a very long along time, Office Brands members have received record compliance distributions of $2.475 million.”
While many dealers in regional areas have traded relatively strongly during lockdown periods, those servicing metropolitan markets, particularly in CBD precincts, have been hit the hardest.
Office Brand’s compliance distribution arrangement is based on an assessment of each member’s support of the group’s preferred suppliers, from which rebates are generated.
