National network grows to 167 outlets.

 

Officeworks has opened its 167th store in Australia at Warana, located in the Kawana Waters suburb on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

 

The new outlet opened on 18 May with a ‘family fun day’ held on 22 May, involving traditional land owners the Gubbi Gubbi troupe and local community groups SunnyKids and the Kawana Waters Surf Lifesaving Club.

 

Officeworks Warana store business manager, Cameron Foreman said: “Our team is looking forward to building relationships with the local community, and we are delighted to be able to help grow local businesses and make bigger things happen.”

 

The store, which has a staff of 15 and stocks more than 14,000 products, features several sustainability initiatives, including being coated in heat reflective paint, solar panels and soon-to-be installed on-site battery storage. 

 

Officeworks also has existing stores in the Sunshine Coast region at Noosaville, Maroochydore and Morayfield.
