Melton outlet becomes store number 171.

 

Officeworks has opened its second new store within the last month with the unveiling today (21 February) of an outlet at Melton, in the outer western suburbs of Melbourne. 

 

The 1500 sqm store is the fourth Officeworks store to open nationally over the last six months and the second store to open in 2024 (the other being at Canning Vale in Perth). Melton brings the national store tally to 171.

 

The Melton store will be part of the newly-opened West Pines Lifestyle Centre.

 

Officeworks Melton store business manager, Anthony Dalakian said: “Melton is a vibrant and diverse suburb with lots of schools and families. 

 

“With the closest Officeworks at Caroline Springs 20 minutes east or as far west as Ballarat, we’re pleased to meet the growing demand in the western suburbs and play a key part in the growing West Pines Lifestyle Centre community,” he said.

 

The store has created 35 new jobs in the local community and, to support local students and access to educational resources, the store team has donated $2000 in cash and Officeworks gift cards to Melton West Primary School and Djerriwarrh Community Services.
