Officeworks opens new store in Warrnambool

New store opens with 2024 in the picture.
 
Officeworks will open a new store in Warrnambool today (9 August), the retailer’s 167th outlet in Australia.
 
The new store, located on a redeveloped site in Raglan Parade, which also includes a JB Hi-Fi outlet, will create “around 40 new jobs”, according to the retailer. 
 
Plans for the Officeworks and JB Hi-Fi stores were given the green light when two motels on the site were closed down.

Meantime,  Officeworks team members from around the country (pictured) recently gathered at the company’s annual ‘Year Beginning Meeting’ to ‘help make bigger things happen together’ in 2024.
 
The three-day event at CENTREPIECE, Melbourne Park, was attended by more than 500 senior team leaders plus employees beamed in from watch-parties at its Chadstone (Victoria) and North Rocks (NSW) support offices.
 
The agenda featured an update on the year-to-date and highlights over the company’s 29-year history. Attendees heard from key merchandise partners, including Microsoft, HP, Samsung Electronics, Google, JBL Professional and TP-Link.
