Buyer sought for successful CostSmart partner business.

 

Having founded a Rubber Band supply business in 2006 and assigning the trading name of Bounce Rubber Brands in 2017, CostSmart CEO Mark Moffett is now looking for a buyer for his successful offshoot.

 

With the growth of parent company CostSmart, which sources, stores, manages and delivers branded merchandise, uniforms and workwear, promotional materials and all non-core products for corporate business, Moffett said he has made the “tough decision” to sell partner company Bounce Rubber Brands. 

 

“We have been providing rubber bands to the Australian market for 15 years and due to an increase in demand from our established clients, Bounce Rubber Bands was born in 2017,” he told Office Product News. 

 

“The brand has been experiencing fantastic growth over the past two years as a result of being on-boarded as the preferred supplier to the Office Choice and Office Brands dealer groups,” he said.

 

Through Office Brands, the company also has an exclusive agreement to provide rubber bands under the Initiative label.

 

“While our office products resellers are our strongest focus for Bounce Rubber Brands, we have found opportunities in new and vertical industries that our OP dealers could also find of significant ‘scalable’ value, such as packaging, food, floral, agriculture, education and media,” Moffett said.

 

Bounce Rubber Brands currently has annual turnover with a strong upward trajectory

 

“Bounce Rubber Bands offers industry-best pricing and we work with reputable distributors around Australia and to a number of countries internationally, including PNG, Ecuador, South Korea, Israel, Turkey, the UK and USA,” Moffett said. 

 

“In fact, we have sold over 120,000kg of rubber bands to Ecuador without handling any of them,” he said.

 

“Since its inception, Bounce Rubber Bands has worked hard to ensure that we are providing an ethical and sustainable product to consumers and our accreditation with ECO specifier and GECA – along with our sustainability awards - position our business as a wonderful opportunity,” he added.
