Weatherdon is a locally-owned hospitality distribution business.
 
Proudly in our 47th year of business, we are a supplier of a comprehensive range of products for the hotel, accommodation, hospitality, commercial and office markets. Weatherdon has developed and marketed products and services that have resonated with our supply partners into a B2B market. Constantly growing this business, we explore, learn and look for new ways of doing things.
 
This opportunity has the breadth and depth of scope to allow for growth and development.  Based in a friendly mid-sized office located close to St Leonards train station.
 
Who you are:
 
You are motivated and energetic business professional with a polished and personable nature who can confidently engage online and over the phone with Business Owners, General Managers and retail personnel in the B2B market.  You operate at a fast pace, are results driven, fluent with technology, and have a strong ability to follow through.
 
You will be experienced in sales with a track record of exceeding KPIs, ideally bringing with you a background in B2B sales. You will have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and will have the ability to combine industry knowledge with a commercial mindset. You will understand how to use sales data to generate leads and forecast outcomes.
 
Reporting to our National Sales Manager and working from our St Leonards office, you enjoy working autonomously while also being an active member in a supportive and collaborative team of like-minded individuals.
 
Your responsibility:
  • Using phone calls and virtual interaction to drive territory sales results across the indirect channel for the Weatherdon business
  • Developing and executing a clear and logical call plan to produce sales results by prospecting both new and existing customers
  • Networking across your national portfolio to build and cement relationships
  • Growing share of customers mind and preference for Weatherdon by conducting highly effective sales calls to decision-makers and influencers
  • Using the Weatherdon IT systems to identify and communicate internally on opportunities and record interactions
  • Meeting KPIs around activity and objectives
  • Attending events and conferences as required
We believe a successful Inside Sales Account Manager at Weatherdon requires a combination of:
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated sales experience, preferable in B2B
  • Ambition, focus, passion and hunger for growth and exceeding KPIs
  • Great business acumen and a creative and flexible approach to sales
  • Ability to analyse sales data and information to drive the sales effort
  • Motivated by a challenge
  • Outstanding communication and listening skills with ability to collaborate at all levels
  • Good written structure and presentation skills
  • Strong technical skills to drive virtual sales without face-to-face interaction
  • Good understanding of Microsoft business software expected.  Experience with SAP desirable
  • Valid NSW Driver’s License is required for occasional customer/tradeshow visits
