Staedtler UK digitises its customer ordering system

SwiftCloud app adopted by 60 per cent of customers.
 
Staedtler UK, has selected Software as a Service (SaaS) provider Adventoris to develop its digital presence in a move to “enhance and streamline its operations and improve its customer experience.”
 
Adventoris is the creator of SwiftCloud, a leading mobile app for distributors and wholesalers that provides businesses with a platform that enables their customers to see products, communicate with the company and make orders 24/7.
 
Prior to SwiftCloud, Staedtler UK was using an ordering system which was often time consuming for staff and customers, relying heavily on email or phone orders, and sales representative visits.
 
Through introducing an ordering app powered by SwiftCloud, Staedtler UK has digitised its customer ordering process, with 60 per cent of its invited customer base having now downloaded and logged into the app.
 
Staedtler’s UK managing director Philip Wesolowski, said: “Before SwiftCloud, our trade sales channel operated with manual order capture and order entry which was very time-consuming for both sales and customer service staff. 
 
“Manual processes also led to errors resulting in credit notes and a less-than-perfect experience for the customer,” he said.
 
“Some of our customers would also wait for a visit from their sales rep to place an order, meaning they placed orders sporadically,” he added.
 
SwiftCloud also offers a tablet app for sales managers to process orders face-to-faceand a desktop ordering portal allowing customers to order across multiple devices.
