Great response but more stationery items needed. 

 

The Office Products Charitable Fund has had a “great response” to date with its appeal for stationery items to be included in book-packs for Dandelion Support Network.

 

Charity Fund chairman John Donaghy said: “The response from suppliers has been great with contributions from General Stationery, Uni-Ball, Pilot Pen Australia, Hamelin Brands and The Note Group.

 

“While we’ve had some fantastic support so far, we will still need more so please contact myself or Nancey Cargill if you can assist,” he said.

Dandelion has seen a 30 per cent increase in requests for stationery, nursery and clothing items for children over the past year. 

 

In the last financial year, the group provided services to more than 2000 families with the number increasing to 3000 over the next 12 months.
