Twenty-fifth charity golf day raises $25,000

Players and sponsors hit it off at Brighton Lakes.
 
Last Friday’s 25th annual Office Products Charity Golf Day raised $25,000 thanks to the support of players and sponsors who turned up in force at the new venue Brighton Lakes Golf Club in Sydney.
 
Organised by the Australian Office Products Charitable Fund, proceeds from the golf day go towards a range of children’s charities.
 
Charity Fund chairman and MC John Donaghy said proceeds from the golf day took the Fund's total monies raised in support of low-profile children's charities over the past 25 years to more than $1.5 million.
 
Overall winner of the four-person ambrose event was the Dynamic Supplies team (pictured from left) comprising Craig Saxby (OKI), David Campbell (Cartridge World), Brad Morton (Dynamic Supplies), MC John Donaghy and Alex Brennan (Blue Ink, ACT).
 
The scratch winner was the ACCO Brands team, comprising Adam Colman, Craig Watson and Joel Anderson and John Duncan from Sharp Office, Newcastle.
                                                                      
Sponsors of this year’s event included major sponsors ACCO Brands and dealer group Office Brands, GNS Wholesale, Ball & Doggett, Office Choice, Mitsubishi Pencil, Pilot Pen, Verbatim, Staedtler Australia, Discount Office National, Dynamic Supplies, Hamelin Brands, Winc Australia and Neon Orient.

The Charity Fund’s next event will be the annual Office Products Industry Christmas Lunch to be held at Club York In Sydney on Friday, 24 November.
