UNI-BALL GOES PLASTIC FREE

The uni-ball brand is regarded around the world for its high-quality writing instruments.

At Mitsubishi Pencil Australia, we are now focusing our efforts on the company’s sustainability efforts with the uni-ball range at the forefront of our campaign to reduce the use of single-use plastics.

Our new packaging marks a change in Australia, moving from plastic blister cards to 100% plastic-free packaging.

The new packaging will be made entirely out of PEFC-certified* cardboard, printed with vegetable-based inks rather than toxic mineral-based inks. As well as being plastic-free the new packs are completely bio-degradable and recyclable.

The packs use a non-toxic, water-based blister varnish that does not affect composting or cause environmental damage.

The new packaging will be launched through Officeworks and will initially be rolled out across the popular uni-ball Eye range with the complete uni-ball hang-sell range to follow.

uni-ball’s new plastic-free packaging is -
  • PEFC-certified
  • Non-toxic
  • Biodegradable
  • Recyclable
