‘Business as usual’ for Northern Territory dealership.

 

It’s “business as usual” for Katherine Office Supplies, following the passing of long-time owner Ken Vellnagel at the age of 80.

 

Ken’s wife Teresa (Tet) said the business, part of Office Choice’s unbranded Office Connexions group, will continue as usual, serving the people of Katherine and surrounding area.

 

“Business is good and we are also seeing a lot of tourists come through our retail outlet,” she told Office Products News.

 

Katherine is around 320 kilometres south of Darwin and has a population of around 6500.

 

Ken Vellnagel recently posted the following on social media: “For your records. I am 80 years-old and have had my own business for some 18 years. Not looking for any other work and/or position. My next stage, when I reach it, will be to sell this business and retire.”
