Peter Batten recognised for contribution to local community.

 

Office Choice dealer Peter Batten, owner of Global Office & Warehouse Solutions in Carrum Downs, Victoria, has been named as the inaugural winner of the group’s ‘Local Heroes Award’.

 

The Office Choice Local Heroes Awards recognise members for their outstanding contribution to their local communities.

 

Batten was presented his award at OPIx 2022 where he was also presented with a cheque for $5000 to be presented to his local charity of choice. 

 

In accepting the award, Batten said the donation will go towards the many charities he works with including creating welfare boxes for children and victims of domestic violence.   

 

Batten spends approximately 30 per cent of his working week volunteering his time to local community organisations as a community member and as an advisor/mentor.
