Warehouse Stationery campaigns for small business

Warehouse Stationery reveals the winners of its small business ad campaign promotion.

In July the retailer announced that it was offering NZ$240,000 of it’s ad space to ten small businesses, plus the creative firepower of a leading agency to create the ads.

Ten small businesses across a variety of industries throughout New Zealand have now been selected to receive between NZ$10,000 to NZ$42,000 media spend plus creative production. The advertising package includes bespoke ads that will appear on radio, online, in social, in press and/or outdoor media depending on each businesses needs.

The ten successful businesses to receive the ad package are:

  • Dune Monsters: a company that designs and creates bespoke plywood products for kids.
  • Harley’s Popcorn: a company that creates organic popcorn.
  • Muddy Paws: a Tauranga based business that provides kennel free boarding.
  • The Little Chapel: a wedding and events venue that donate their proceeds to children and families.
  • J Bings: an Asian fusion food and Bubble Teas company.
  • Wilson Construction: a construction company that specialises in new architectural builds.
  • Otago Childcare Centre: a not-for-profit childcare centre.
  • Rainbow Rosalind: an award-winning children’s singer/songwriter.
  • Cleantastic: a commercial cleaning company.
  • Frankie Apothecary: an all-natural skin and hair care range.

“Warehouse Stationery prides itself on having everything a small business needs. And right now small businesses need business,” Wendy Ballard, Warehouse Stationery head of marketing, said.

Meantime, Warehouse Stationery parent company The Warehouse Group has announced a full-year profit of NZ$44.5 million.

However, the company, which also operates The Warehouse, Noel Leeming, Torpedo7 and TheMarket.co.nz would have made a loss without the NZ$67.7 million it received in government wage subsidies.
