Wesfarmers launches revamped membership program

Plans to extend loyalty club to other partners.

Wesfarmers’ newly revamped membership program, OnePass, has launched through three of its divisions Kmart, Target and its marketplace Catch under one subscription umbrella.

The company said it was planning to add more partners – which could include Officeworks - but has launched the program with the three key brands offering free delivery across the vast majority of their fashion ranges.

Wesfarmers boss Rob Scott is aiming for deeper digital engagement and will leverage its powerful brands and the proposition across individual retail businesses to deliver more value to households, and the group will be assisted by data analytics.

The Catch marketplace will join Wesfarmers’ new OneDigital segment on 1 July, bringing together the group’s digitally native businesses which include the membership program, data platform and marketplace.

OneDigital managing director Nicole Sheffield told the Australian Financial Review: “We see Catch as an exciting business with potential for growth, and continue to invest in developing the marketplace platform and fulfilment capabilities, and transition the proposition from a deals-based to broad-based and scalable marketplace.”

“The OnePass membership program has recently expanded to offer consumers free delivery across thousands of eligible items in Kmart, Target and Catch, for $4 per month or $40 per annum,” she said.
