Winc Australia has celebrated the opening of its ‘revitalised’ Port Melbourne site with the unveiling of an artwork by Saretta Fielding.

 

Fielding, owner of Saretta Art & Design, created Ngaliinba Yapung to illustrate “the story of Winc’s journey in Aboriginal symbolism”.

 

The unveiling coincides with indigenous business group Supply Nation’s Supplier Diversity September promotional program.

 

Supplier Diversity September is a month-long “virtual festival” that Supply Nation holds annually to promote the benefits of supplier diversity and to showcase the range of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses in Australia.

 

Mid-market lay-offs

 

Meantime, OPN understands Winc last week laid off around 30 employees, many of whom worked in the area of ‘mid-market’ sales.
