Convenience store group celebrates 50th anniversary.
Winc Australia joined in the celebration of 7-Eleven’s 50th anniversary in Australia by participating in the convenience store group’s recent ‘Shaping the Future’ conference and awards night in Melbourne.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with all 7-Eleven store owners and their head office team,” Tania McClure, strategic business manager at Winc, said.
“A huge thank you to Shane Doig and Irene Daws for their support at the Winc stand. We had more than 1900 people come through the experience centre,” she said.
More than 1200 franchisees, store leaders, and suppliers attended the event with Red Bull being named 7-Eleven’s supplier of the year.
7-Eleven Australia is locally operated, with approximately 750 stores across Victoria, NSW, ACT, QLD and Western Australia. There are more than 450 small family-owned businesses in the 7-Eleven franchise network.
Approximately 9000 Australians work under the 7-Eleven brand, employed directly by 7-Eleven or indirectly through franchised stores.
