Last week’s International Women’s Day (IWD), a day that has been celebrated globally for more than a century, presented Winc Australia/NZ with an opportunity to highlight its gender equality policy.

 

According to the big corporate supplier, 50 per cent of Winc’s senior leaders are female. 

 

“This ensures gender balance within Winc’s leadership,” the company said, adding that 60 per cent of those promoted into higher positions since September 2021 are women. 

 

“Creating opportunities for both women and men to participate at Winc is important to us and as a female in a senior leadership role, I am grateful to be in a workforce where inclusiveness and equality is valued. I look forward to continuing to build a healthy pipeline of talent to maintain the right balance,” Sally Dickson, group human resources director at Winc, said.

 

Gender equality is one of the six pillars in the Winc Social Agenda.
