Customers’ ears could end up burning!

 

Officeworks has recalled Otto brand ear buds over fears the USB charging cord may overheat and burn through.

 

The white OTTO TW100 True Wireless Ear Buds are rechargeable and come with a case.

 

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has warned "if the charging cord overheats and burns through, this may cause a fire, increasing the risk of serious injury or death."

 

The product was sold through Officeworks both in stores across the country and online between July 14 and October 20 of this year.

 

They are marked with Brand: OTTO, model no.: TW100 and Batch Code: FD. The product code is: OTSLTHW08

 

Customers are urged to return the ear buds to Officeworks for a refund.
