Brother added to world's top employer list
Global staff give parent company the thumbs up.
Brother Industries Ltd, parent company of Brother International Australia, has been included in Forbes magaine’s 2020 ‘World's Best Employers’ list.
Brother ranked 130th among 750 multinationals and corporations headquartered in 45 countries.
The top Australian company on the list was ANZ, ranked 103, while the top three companies overall were Samsung, Amazon and IBM.
German market research firm, Statista, was responsible for conducting the survey from June to July this year, and the ranking for this list, was based on survey results that were provided by 160,000 full-time and part-time workers across 58 countries.
Respondents rated their willingness to recommend their own employers to family and friends as well as their company's responses to the COVID-19 pandemic and other aspects such as their company's image, economic footprint, talent development, gender equality and social responsibility.
Brother has also instituted a multitude of COVID-19 related safety measures across locations globally, including distribution of face masks to essential employees and making necessary process and policy updates to keep employees safe.
