Newcastle dealer celebrates 50th anniversary as Sharp Office.

 

ASA Australia member Sharp Electronics and its office products stablemate Office Trend will be rebranded under the one banner as Sharp Office from 17 May.

 

The name change coincides with the Newcastle-based company’s 50th anniversary, having started out offering business technology and printing solutions followed by office products and office furniture.

 

Managing director George Tuntevski said: “After conducting feedback surveys, we found that our customers and suppliers were confused by two of our brands, OfficeTrend and Sharp Electronics Group, and often did not realise they are owned and operated by one company.

 

“Rebranding to one name makes it simpler so that we will be recognised as the one trusted company by customers new, and long-standing. We will continue to offer the same services and products, we have the same great team, and we remain 100 per cent locally-owned and operated,” he said.

 

While the company will implement the new branding across its premises, vehicles and website, contact details remain the same.
