Officeworks makes a difference to 17 community groups
Retailer names beneficiaries of ‘Round Up To Make A Difference’ campaign.
Officeworks has named 17 community organisations that will benefit from the retailer’s ‘Round Up To Make A Difference’ initiative.
This year, due to the significant and ongoing impact of COVID-19, the focus of the initiative is to assist groups in two areas: education and mental health in the community.
Officeworks store teams selected the organisations they wanted to help based on what felt most relevant to their local communities. To participate, customers round up the cost of their purchase in store or make a donation online.
Officeworks general manager corporate affairs, Alexandra Staley, said: “As a business it’s important for us to connect and support the communities where we love and work. Last year’s ‘Round Up To Make A Difference’ campaign raised more than $1 million to support community organisations.”
The organisations supported this year include: Very Special Kids, Kids Under Cover, Keeley’s Cause, the Alannah and Madeline Foundation, Reach Out, Backpacks 4 VIC Kids, Speak Up! Stay chatty, Starlight Foundation, EatUp, PCYC NSW, Black Dog Institute, Camp Quality, Kids Helpline, Radio Lollipop, Hummingbird House, Kick Start for Kids, and Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation.
