Need paper? We’ve got it says Officeworks.

 

Officeworks has targeted independent office products dealers with an email campaign promoting the retailer’s copy paper range.

 

Selected dealers have been sent promotional emails with the subject heading – “Need paper? We’ve got it.’

 

The email copy reads:

 

‘At a time when paper supply is challenged in Australia, Officeworks still has you covered. Shop for copy paper with confidence at our everyday low prices. Plus, explore everything from stationery to notebooks to refresh your space.’

 

The ‘challenge’ Officeworks refers to is the current shortage of locally-manufactured white copy paper, created by the closure of white paper production at Opal Australian Paper’s Maryville mill in Victoria.

 

Officeworks offers a range of copy paper, including its J. Burrows house brand and Opal’s flagship brand Reflex, now priced at $7.95 a ream.

 

Officeworks’ featured 80 gsm recycled UPM Office brand is priced at $7.25 a ream with a special bulk offer of $1500.00 for 225 reams.
