Sydney dealer donates 2.5% of earnings to charity.

 

Prestons-based Office Choice dealer Maroof Kahn, owner of NSW Office Solutions, has won Office Choice’s ‘Local Hero’ award for 2023.

 

The award is presented to the Office Choice member in recognition of their support of local charities and community projects. The winner also recieves a cheque for $5000 to be donated to the recipient's charity of choice.

 

Khan donates 2.5 per cent of his earnings to charity, as well as proving a container fully-stocked with event essentials such as marquees, chairs and tables for communities to use at no cost.

 

Khan is a former president of Labasans Australia Fiji Inc and the Muslim League of NSW Youth as well as secretary of the NSW Fiji Business Council.

 

Other nominees for this year’s award were John Mai (Select Office Supplies), Mark Smith (Dorset Business Solutions) and Dan and Benn Kelly (Stuart & Dunn Office Choice).
