Charity Christmas lunch raises $35,000
A big thank-you to sponsors and attendees.
Last week’s office products industry charity Christmas launch raised $35,000 in aid of children’s charities, including this year’s major beneficiary Dandelion Support Network.
Around 140 people attended this year’s event, organised by the Australian Office Products Charitable Fund and held at Club York in Sydney.
MC John Donaghy (Discount Office National) presented a cheque for $22,000 to Gabrielle Humphreys, operations manager at Dandelion Support Network, who thanked the office products community for its on-going support for the not-for-profit group.
Humphreys said her organisation was “eternally grateful” for the cash donation and the hundreds of book packs that have a made a “huge” difference to the lives of under-privileged children.
