Officeworks opens 17th store in WA
New outlet takes national total to 170.
Officeworks has opened its 170th store at Canning Vale, in the southern suburbs of Perth.
The new 1915 sqm store, the retailer’s 17th outlet in Western Australia, opened its doors earlier this week (14 February) and comes three months after Officeworks opened its first customer fulfilment centre in the state.
The store has created 30 new jobs in the local community and, to support local students and equitable access to educational resources, the store team has chosen to donate $2000 in cash and Officeworks gift cards to the Wadalite Foundation’s Deadly Sista Girlz program and the Tribe Early Learning Centre.
Officeworks Canning Vale store business manager, Sean Looker said: “We are a team of 30 spanning a range of backgrounds and experience, 14 of us are Canning Vale locals and a further eight are from the surrounding suburbs including Southern River, Harris dale, Piara Waters and Atwell.”
Officeworks Canning Vale will celebrate its opening on Wednesday, February 14 at 10am alongside valued partners, community groups and team members.
Canning Vale Officeworks will host a Community Fun Day on Saturday, 24 February from 11am to 1pm, offering free activities such as arts and crafts, face painting, giveaways, and complimentary coffee.
The new store is located at Tenancy 1, 215 Campbell Rd, Canning Vale and will open from 8am- 9pm Monday to Friday, 8am- 5pm on Saturdays and 11am- 5pm on Sundays
