Office Choice buys out Melbourne member
Dealer group acquires Rosebud Office Choice.
The acquisition is a "major step in the execution of our '2023 & Beyond' vision, underscoring our commitment to expansion", Office Choice CEO Brad O'Brien said.
"Rosebud Office Choice will be seamlessly integrated under the OCL umbrella, heralding a new era of innovation, operational excellence and competitive robustness," he added.
“The existing [Rosebud] team are happily remaining in place, excited for this new chapter supported by our national support office team,” the group said.
"I spent some time with Zoe and Vicki last week and was delighted to see their excitement about the future," Office Choice chief marketing and merchandise officer Teresa Thompson, told Office Products News.
Operating for more than 30 years under the previous owner Richard Brown, Rosebud Office Choice had been advertised for sale with a leasehold price of $335,000. The company had until recently a second outlet named Westernport Office Supplies at Hastings, which is now closed.
Split over two sites - a retail shop front just off the main street and a nearby warehouse - the Mornington Peninsula-based business is set up for both primary and secondary school book supplies in a custom-built fit-out doubling the size of the warehouse.
