Global industrial distribution group Bunzl has acquired Perth-based safety and emergency response supplies business Fire Rescue Safety Australia for an undisclosed price.

 

FRSA, which operates from five locations across Australia, and made annual revenue of around $40 million last year.

 

“FRSA has a market leading position in the provision of emergency response solutions in Australia and further expands and develops the scope of our operations there,” Bunzl chief executive Frank van Zanten said

 

The UK-based company, which supplies businesses with everything from food wrap and rubber gloves to hard hats and surgical gowns, said group revenue will inch up one per cent at constant exchange rates due to acquisitions, while underlying revenue will be flat year-on-year.
